After the development of these stackable bottle crates the wooden crates used before were completely driven out of the market. They are of less weight, the contents remains visible when stacked, the advertising space is protected by hems, and the grid bottom allows easy cleaning.

This sitting room suite, designed when teaching at National Design Institute, Paldi, India, was intended to suit the Indian climate and economical requirements – low seats and easy to be moved. Moreover they should not sink in on weak surface.
Framework made of massive Indian teak, cover of linen with sewed-in wooden ribs.
